Christen brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as Marketing Coordinator at The Womb Room. With 17 years of parenting experience and three teenagers of her own, she deeply understands the physical, emotional, and mental transformations that come with pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.

Before joining The Womb Room, Christen spent over a decade teaching yoga in the Baltimore area, including three years dedicated to prenatal yoga. Through movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices, she guided expectant mothers in preparing for birth with confidence and ease. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes safety, accessibility, and empowerment, blending lived experience with professional training.

In addition to her yoga expertise, Christen has a background in graphic design and marketing. She previously worked with Allison at Yogaworks, where she coordinated workshops and managed social media marketing. During her time there, she scheduled events with teachers, designed promotional flyers, and uploaded events into MBO, gaining valuable experience in event coordination and brand promotion.

Christen has completed over 900 hours of yoga training with renowned programs such as Yogaworks, Kripalu, Pranakryia (Prenatal), and Katonah Yoga. Her expertise in functional movement and trauma-informed practices has allowed her to support individuals in all stages of life, helping them build resilience and reconnect with their inner strength.

Outside of her professional life, Christen enjoys gardening, cooking, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family, which includes her three children, two birds, a dog, a cat, and a flock of chickens. She is passionate about fostering community, connection, and well-being—values she brings to her work at The Womb Room.
