During this two days process that takes 4 hours total, the placenta is steamed, dried, powdered and put into 80-140 capsules or placenta pills. In the case of a hospital birth, you will work with your birth team to ensure your placenta is put on ice and safely stored in a mini cooler, and transferred to your home refrigerator within 1-2 days. In the case of a home birth, your placenta never leaves your home! In either case, your Encapsulator brings equipment to your house, completely sanitizes the work space, and leaves your kitchen spotless. Thorough instructions on dosage and storage will be provided by the Encapsulator, who will follow-up after a week as well. Placenta Encapsulation service includes: Placenta Process - thoroughly sanitizing the workspace, dehydrating and filling into swallowable capsules. Placenta Capsules - you will receive 80-140 capsules, depending on your placenta size, in vegetarian gelcaps. Placenta Guide - a simple printed instructions and schedule for how to store and consume your capsules. Placenta Prints - two beautiful 11" x 14" prints using the placenta, umbilical cord, and blood to cherish! Umbilical Keepsake - the life-giving umbilical cord as a memento of your baby's birth, dried in a cute bag. A $25 driving fee is added for 30 miles of driving, from zip code 21030, + $1 for each mile thereafter.
